Oxford Brookes University - Formula Society of Automotive Engineers


Description:

Held position of suspension team lead for the 2013/14 season.  Developed full vehicle model in MSC Adams in order to justify spring / ARB selection and document ride profile characteristics. This models was used in conjunction with excel spreadsheet calculations to analyze roll gradients / force distributions. Responsible for overall vehicle setup, race engineers and damper tuning during in-season testings. Responsible for presenting suspension design portfolio at FSAE events.  In my efforts on the Oxford Brookes vehicle dynamics design team at the 2014 Formula Student UK competition, we received first place in the design competition, both receiving the Carroll Smith Memorial Shield, and Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 award in recognition.
