Project Ada | Main Robotic Workflow

Description:
The robotic platform "Ada" (pictured above) is used to perform high throughout laboratory experiments. I worked on multiple hardware design projects which interacted with the centre robot (UR3), and peripheral robot (North Robotics N9). This particular robot was used to measure, spraycoat, and manipulate glass slides before performing a number of analytical tests. All custom component were designed in Solidworks. I gained experiences with complex assembly design and GD&T drafting techniques for outsourced parts. Robotic interfaces were controlled via Python.
